Autumn 2026 was a season of celebration across Viction Ecosystem. Retrodrop Season 7 took shape as one consolidated season for the rest of the year, Viction Citizens filled the feed with Mid-Autumn lanterns, Halloween treats, and Viction's 3rd Birthday Month officially began.

Through two Autumn month, Viction community that keeps sharing, keeps creating, and keeps showing up - every season, every celebration, every contribution.

Viction Retrodrop Season 7 - A Consolidated Season for Q3 and Q4 2026

In September, the Viction Foundation brought Viction Improvement Proposal (VIP) #11 to the community: a proposal to merge the Q3 and Q4 2026 Retrodrop rounds into a single Retrodrop Season 7.

• The total budget stays unchanged at 2.5M VIC.
• Season 7 will take place in Q4 2026.
• One larger season means a more meaningful distribution for long-term contributors.

Season of Celebration Within Community

If summer was about momentum, autumn was about coming back together. Across time zones and cultures, the Viction community regrouped around the moments that matter - sharing a table, a story, or even a laugh - with Viction Ecosystem IPs Contrarians and Ivy woven into everyday life along the way. No one celebrated alone; every moment became a shared one.

Autumn Season

As the leaves turned, the community gathered for rooftop evenings and Mid-Autumn nights under the full moon - with Ivy and the Contrarians right in the scene.

From Manila to Jakarta to Bangkok - and anywhere in the world - the community brought its own hometown flavor to the season.

Halloween Season

October got a little spookier - and a lot more playful. The community used Viction Ecosystem IPs like Ivy and Contrarians to dress up, decorate their corners of the internet, and swap costumes and stories. More laughs than frights, and another reason for everyone to show up together. 

Viction Turns 3

As October came to a close, Viction's Birthday Month began. Three years of building real ownership - and the community gathered once more to look back on their own journeys on-chain, share the moments that brought them here, and send their wishes for the year ahead. The celebration carries on into November.

Creator Hub - Hosted by FrontierDAO

~22 bounties, 410+ submissions, ~73,500 XP granted across the FrontierDAO platform over the two months.

Across September and October, ~22 bounties went live on frontierdao.org - drawing 410+ submissions. Beyond the seasonal celebrations, Web3 education kept running in the background: explaining blockchain, gas fees, and on-chain ownership in ways that feel close to everyday life.

Across the bounties, the same names keep showing up on the winners' boards - a sign of long-term contributors who show up season after season. Every contribution adds to their XP, and that consistency gets rewarded along the way.

Viction Discord Actives

The conversation didn't stop at bounties. A big shout-out to the most active Viction Citizens on Viction Discord in September and October - the ones who keep the chat alive, welcome newcomers, and make the community feel like home.

Frontier Creative

Three months after launch, Frontier Creative has become part of the community's daily routine. Viction Citizens used AI to put Contrarians and Ivy into their own everyday moments - festivals, sports, Halloween, and birthday wishes - with 1,200+ mints across September and October.

Local Chapters in Action

Local chapters kept translating Viction into their own language and culture:

• 🇵🇭 Viction Philippines - put the ecosystem in the spotlight with the Viction Ecosystem Spotlight Challenge, imagined Contrarians & Ivy as Pinoy, then invited members to Introduce Web3 the Filipino Way and become a Community Connector.
• 🇮🇩 Viction Indonesia - mixed education and creativity with the Edu Vanguard Bounty and an Indonesia-themed creative challenge, followed by Sports Week and Halloween Week Vanguard.
• 🇹🇭 Viction Thailand - reimagined Thai daily life in Contrarian & Ivy style with the FrontierDAO Creative Tool, linked the Vegetarian Festival to blockchain, and brought Thai ghosts into Web3 for Halloween.
• 🇻🇳 Viction Vietnam - kept the community connected through regular ecosystem updates.

~12 AMAs across the Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, and Vietnam kept every chapter aligned on ecosystem updates, while chapter tasks carried key news - VIP #11, the monthly recap, the Vanguard XP Leaderboard, and Viction's birthday - to local audiences. AMAs educate, bounties reward action, and that action becomes the content that welcomes the next wave of newcomers.

Closing Thought

September and October showed that Viction's culture lives in its community - in every lantern, every costume, and every story shared on-chain. Retrodrop Season 7 is set to reward the contributors who've been here for the long run, and the 3rd birthday celebration month is only getting started.
