Viction officially announced its next network upgrade - the Pre-Prometheus Hard Fork, the next checkpoint on the road to accelerating the Viction Network.

Pre-Prometheus addresses key technical optimizations that harden network readiness and ensure the system runs at peak performance ahead of the major upgrade still to come, the Prometheus Hard Fork. Think of it as tightening every bolt before the big launch.

Ahead of the highly anticipated Retrodrop Season 6, a wave of summer campaigns kicked off to help the community build their on-chain footprint early.

Coin98 Super Wallet launched the SwapX Summer Festival (Ongoing till June 15), rewarding users who swap on Viction. Beyond the rewards, it is a head start: every interaction now helps build the on-chain footprint that will count toward Retrodrop Season 6.

The VIC token utility expanded into the payment sector. Water Slash NFT Mint on Viction with Dagora

Leaning fully into the summer theme, Dagora launched the Water Slash "Double or Soaked" NFT minting campaign - a playful, beach-themed activation that kept on-chain activities flowing throughout the month.

Viction Vanguard: The Creator Hub is Upgraded

FrontierDAO, Viction's community growth engine, unveiled one of its biggest evolutions: FrontierDAO 4.0 - Viction Vanguard, the home where builders, creators, and community members show up and build together. The upgrade reshapes how the community participates and gets rewarded:

• Easier access: Members can now log in simply with X or Gmail, lowering the barrier to getting started.
• Bounties & Quests:
  • Bounties are deeper, higher-impact tasks (content campaigns, ecosystem research, builder contributions) for those ready to go further.

Viction expanded its footprint at major blockchain week events across Southeast Asia: Viction Thailand and FrontierDAO joined Southeast Asia Blockchain Week 2026 (SEABW 2026) as Community Partners, while Viction Indonesia and FrontierDAO joined Bali Blockchain Week as Community Partner, teaming up with the local community to help deliver an impactful event.

May closes and June truly opens the summer vibe on Viction. Retrodrop Season 6 is kicking off, where the on-chain footprints built over the past months are finally recognized, alongside Pre-Prometheus Hard Fork activation on mainnet.
