A new way to reward contribution across all seasons of Viction’s Retrodrop 

Every on-chain action tells a story: a swap, a quick mint, a new dApp you tried on Viction. Retrodrop exists to capture and recognize those moments in a meaningful, transparent, and rewarding way.

Retrodrop is not a farming program. It doesn’t ask you to do extra tasks or chase after complicated missions. It simply acknowledges what you already do on Viction, and rewards you for it.

1. What is Retrodrop badges?

Retrodrop badges are Viction’s long-term recognition program that rewards real on chain engagement through collectible badges. Your actions build your on-chain identity. Retrodrop badges turn those actions into collectibles that reflect your contribution: simple, fair, and easy to understand. The Retrodrop Badges scheme is designed to motivate users to stay active on-chain and reward continuous contribution within the Viction ecosystem, which has already seen over 270,000 wallets joined, 20+ curated projects participated, and 1.25 M $VIC awarded to contributors each season.

2. Why Retrodrop badges matters?

Whether you swap once a month or interact with multiple projects every week, your activity contributes to the ecosystem. Retrodrop badges acknowledge all levels of engagement on chain.

We reward you based on the badges you hold

Retrodrop badges are collective. Each badge represents the level of contribution you made during the season. Your reward is based on your badge tier with no hidden criteria, no surprises.

Collecting badges is very simple

You don’t need to do anything unusual:

• Stay active on Viction
• Mint Viction's Foundation and campaign badges on Dagora when available

No quests, no invites, no complicated steps.

3. How Retrodrop works:

Retrodrop evaluates real on-chain activity and groups users into two clear categories:

Group I – On-chain Users

Your contribution level determines which Foundation badge you receive:

• High / Medium contribution on chain → Mid & High-tier Foundation badge
• Low contribution on chain → Lower-tier Foundation badge
• No contribution → Considered not eligible to receive Foundation badge

Group II – Project Campaign Participants

You focus on collecting campaign badges from ecosystem projects. As long as you participate or mint campaign badges on time, you stay eligible for Retrodrop.

4. Breakdown about badges

Foundation badge

During each season of Retrodrop

• Viction and ecosystem projects introduce/ reintroduce the mechanism to be eligible for receiving Foundation badges.
• Users explore the mission and the visual of badges on Dagora’s platform, mint foundation badges when completing foundation missions.

End of each season

• Snapshot taken of all user activities, system evaluates on-chain contribution → assigns Foundation Badge tier.
• Eligible users can claim Foundation Badge on Dagora’s platform.

Next season

• Badge data carries over → helps determine initial tier and reward potential for next Retrodrop season.

Project campaign badge

During each season of Retrodrop

• Viction coordinates with ecosystem and new projects to launch project-led campaigns badges on Dagora. Each campaign introduces its own missions (e.g. staking, trading, NFT minting,…).
• Users complete missions and mint Project Badges directly during the campaign period.
• Communication focuses on: Highlighting co-branded campaigns (Viction × Project) and driving users to join missions early to boost their future Retrodrop tier.

End of each season

• Campaign badges minted during the season are recorded as proof of contribution. → Project Badge holders receive bonus weight / multiplier for higher reward tier.

Next season

• Update new projects with new badges to unlock
