July - mid August 2025 was a milestone month for Viction, highlighted by our presence at Conviction, where strategic integrations met impactful community initiatives, and global growth reached new heights. The energy of Conviction not only showcased Viction’s vision but also reinforced our commitment to empowering the community and building a decentralized future.

1. Ecosystem Highlights 

This month, we focused on enhancing accessibility and expanding our ecosystem through key activities:

1.1. Viction in Conviction

At Conviction 2025, Viction made its presence felt through a dynamic blend of experiences and community-driven initiatives. Our booth became a vibrant hub, offering interactive games, on-chain demos, and exclusive merch that brought the ecosystem to life. On stage, the Viction keynote highlighted our vision of “Build with conviction. Scale with vision.”, sharing the latest upgrades, community milestones, and roadmap for the future. 

Beyond the event floor, we launched a series of bounty programs rewarding contributors with VIC and special badge multipliers. Together, these activities turned Conviction into more than just an event; it was a celebration of ownership, creativity, and collective growth within the Viction ecosystem.

1.2. Tanu’s Summer Surprise

In an engaging boost for community participation, our team launched Tanu’s Summer Surprise. This initiative features a Blind Box Bingsu minting event on Dagora, offering exclusive rewards such as $CHM tokens, Not For Thinking NFTs, and more, with the beloved UXLINK mascot Tanu at the forefront. 

Aligned with the vibrant spirit of gaming culture, like Genshin Impact’s Sunspray Summer Resort, this campaign enhances user interaction and celebrates our community’s energy.

1.3. Atlas Hark Fork

This period also marked a major milestone for Viction with the successful rollout of Hard Fork v2.5.0 (Atlas), now live on GitHub. This upgrade strengthens the network’s scalability, security, and developer experience, ensuring the infrastructure is ready for the next phase of growth.

Key improvements include:

  • Enhanced performance & scalability – optimized transaction processing to handle higher network demand.
  • Stronger network security – improved consensus mechanisms and protection against potential attacks.
  • Better developer experience – upgraded tools and environment for building and deploying dApps.

The Atlas upgrade lays a stronger technical foundation for upcoming ecosystem initiatives, enabling smoother user experiences, more efficient dApp operations, and greater resilience as Viction onboards new projects and communities worldwide.

2. Governance Highlights 

Viction Foundation launched the second season of our Retrodrop program “Own the Glory”, with a total reward pool of $2.5M in VIC. The allocation model was decided entirely by community voting across three options: Project-heavy, Balanced, and Community-led. 

Following an active voting period, Community-led emerged as the winning model, reflecting the strong grassroots spirit of the Viction ecosystem. The VIC rewards have since been successfully distributed to eligible projects in line with this outcome.

3. Performance Highlights

July's performance metrics reflect a period of substantial growth and engagement:

  • Active Users (DAU/ MAU): Viction’s DAU nearly doubled in July 2025, reaching about 63.4K versus roughly 30-40K in June. Monthly Active Users (MAU) rose 14% month-on-month from about 105K in June to 120K in July. The lift came from stronger activity across NFTs, DeFi, and GameFi.
  • New Active Wallet (NAW): July recorded over 39K new wallets, about 2.2X the 2025 YTD average of roughly 18K. Growth was driven by Coin98 Super Wallet onboarding, the ConvictionVN 2025 tickets minted, and traction from Eternals and Efihub.
  • Total Value Locked (TVL): July’s average TVL was 23% higher than June’s, signaling a clear step up in capital on the network. TVL nearly reached $12 million, a year-to-date high that reflects a vibrant month for DeFi across the ecosystem. The month closed with deeper liquidity and steadier participation, setting a stronger baseline for August.

4.1. Viction Vanguard Ambassador Program

Spearheaded by FrontierDAO, has undergone a major transformation with the launch of Viction Vanguard 3.0.

  • What’s New: Missions from Day 1, a streamlined onboarding flow, and better creator support.
  • Key Changes: A tiered badge system where your Badge Multiplier boosts rewards in bounty campaigns and exclusive opportunities.
  • Benefits of Joining Now: Early access to premium bounties, credibility within the global Viction network, and the ability to shape local ecosystem growth.

This month, the program scaled to 150+ ambassadors across 10+ countries, reflecting its global reach and operational strength.

4.2. Bounties & Community Rewards

July and mid August featured multiple high-energy bounty campaigns rewarding creativity, storytelling, and community building:

    • Theme: This two-phase bounty campaign invites both online and offline participants to join the conversation about Viction activities in Conviction.

    • Theme: Express what “OWN” means to you and the Web3 culture.

  • Tech Talk 2025 @ SMX Manila – Joined as a speaker in the Gas Fee panel, spotlighting Viction’s Zero-Gas Fee feature to a tech-savvy audience.
  • Hack The Chain Vol. 2: Viction Edition – Welcomed 144 attendees to learn and build on Viction, plus hosted a dedicated UI/UX training for VRC-25 builders and their startups.
  • 5-Day Bootcamp & Hackathon: Mentored 150 builders on deploying on-chain products with VRC-25, fueling innovation within the Philippine Web3 space.
