January was a remarkable month for Viction, filled with new integrations, exciting milestones, community-driven initiatives, and rewarding campaigns. From major exchange listings and governance enhancements to record-breaking NFT trading volume and gaming collaborations, Viction continues to expand our reach and empower our ecosystem.

1. New Integration

• Coins.ph has become a key gateway for Viction users in the Philippines, enabling seamless trading of $VIC on the country’s largest fiat and crypto e-wallet. As a BSP-licensed exchange, Coins.ph provides a regulated and trusted platform, further strengthening $VIC’s accessibility across Southeast Asia.
• Aliniex and Alix Pay have introduced new on/off-ramp solutions for $VIC, making it easier for users to buy and sell directly with fiat. Aliniex facilitates secure trading, while Alix Pay streamlines fiat-to-crypto transactions, offering a more user-friendly experience for Viction’s expanding community.
• Tally has brought their governance infrastructure to Viction, giving DAOs and on-chain organizations access to a battle-tested governance framework. With Tally’s integration, Viction projects can now implement transparent, decentralized decision-making, enhancing community-driven development.
• Reown has integrated Viction into their AppKit, providing developers with tools to build smoother and more efficient on-chain experiences. By leveraging Reown’s infrastructure, builders on Viction can create more seamless user experiences while optimizing smart contract interactions.
• Bitkub Exchange has welcomed $VIC, marking an important milestone for Viction in Thailand. This listing provides Thai users with a local, regulated exchange to trade $VIC, further expanding our reach in one of Southeast Asia’s most active crypto markets.
• Messari has officially featured Viction, boosting visibility among investors and industry analysts. Messari’s inclusion brings greater transparency and credibility to the ecosystem, offering data-driven insights on Viction’s performance, tokenomics, and ecosystem growth.
• Coin98 has expanded stablecoin support on Viction with the arrival of $WUSD and $USDT. This update strengthens the DeFi ecosystem by providing stable assets for transactions, lending, and liquidity, enhancing financial accessibility across the network.
• Minterest has extended their ecosystem to Viction, bringing $MINTY token and Minterest NFTs onto the blockchain. This move aligns with Minterest’s cross-chain expansion strategy and contributes to a more interconnected and sustainable DeFi ecosystem on Viction.

2. Dagora Hits $3,000,000 in Total Trading Volume

Dagora surpassed $3,000,000 in total trading volume, marking a significant achievement for Viction’s NFT marketplace. With diverse collections ranging from PFPs to gaming assets and fan cards, the platform continues to thrive, driven by a vibrant community of traders and collectors. As momentum builds, Dagora is gearing up for even greater milestones ahead.

3. Viction Retrodrop #1 Distributes 1,250,000 VIC to 178,000+ Wallets

Viction Retrodrop #1 successfully distributed 1,250,000 VIC to over 178,000 wallets, rewarding early supporters based on their contributions to the ecosystem. Following the approval of Viction Improvement Proposal #2 (VIP #2), the distribution was structured to prioritize VIC stakers (40%), governance participants (30%), and active users (30%). The eligibility snapshot covered activities from November 1, 2023, to September 22, 2024 (UTC+7), ensuring fair and impactful rewards. With Season 1 now complete, Viction is setting the stage for future community-driven incentives and governance initiatives.

4. Viction Game Awards 2024 Announces the Winning Teams

The Viction Game Awards 2024 celebrated the most innovative and groundbreaking games in the ecosystem, recognizing projects that pushed the boundaries of creativity, storytelling, and gameplay. After an intense selection process, the shortlisted finalists were revealed on January 16, followed by the announcement of the winning teams on January 24. The competition showcased the incredible talent within the Viction gaming community, reinforcing the ecosystem’s commitment to fostering top-tier blockchain gaming experiences.

5. Community Highlights

Continuing our commitment to the gaming community, Viction hosted and participated in key events that brought players, developers, and blockchain enthusiasts together.

• Viction x Summoners Arena: Hero Showdown Brings Exciting Rewards

Viction teamed up with Summoners Arena for an action-packed Hero Showdown on January 9. Held on Viction Discord, this fun-filled gaming event brought the community together for exclusive in-game rewards, including 40 special codes unlocking SSR equipment and Heroes. This collaboration further strengthens Viction’s commitment to the gaming community, providing players with exciting opportunities to engage and win.

• Viction Showcases at Global Game Jam Vietnam

Viction made our mark at Global Game Jam Vietnam, hosting an interactive booth filled with exclusive gifts and lucky draw prizes for game enthusiasts. Builders who submitted projects for the Viction Game Awards had the chance to grab some cool swag, while attendees engaged in discussions about blockchain gaming and the future of Web3 games. The event brought together passionate developers, players, and industry leaders, reinforcing Viction’s role in shaping the next generation of blockchain-powered games.

• FrontierDAO & Viction hosted Coin98 5th Birthday (with Dagora) 

This global event spanned Vietnam, Nigeria, Thailand, Indonesia, and Russia, marking five years of progress and growth. The celebration brought together the Viction ecosystem, reinforcing the strength of our community. A huge thanks to our co-hosts.

6. Campaign Highlight

This month, Viction and our partners launched multiple campaigns and bounties, rewarding creativity, analytics, and engagement across the ecosystem. 

Viction Dune Dashboard Bounty – Hosted by FrontierDAO

The Viction Dune Dashboard Bounty brought blockchain analytics into the spotlight, inviting data enthusiasts to craft insightful dashboards on Dune. A total of 19 dashboards were submitted, showcasing insights into key network metrics like Daily & Weekly Active Addresses, Transaction Counts, New Addresses, and Cohort Retention, competing for a share of $500 in VIC. By combining creativity with data-driven insights, this bounty encouraged the community to showcase Viction’s network activity in new and compelling ways.

Creative Content Bounty for Eternals' “Pet Rental” Feature – Hosted by FrontierDAO

In collaboration with Eternals World, FrontierDAO launched a $500 bounty focused on creative content. Participants were challenged to review, analyze, and share their experiences with Eternals' new “Pet Rental” feature through engaging videos or threads. This initiative not only boosted community awareness but also highlighted the game’s evolving mechanics and potential.  A total of 94K impressions were generated from all the content created by our creators.

VICTIONary 2025 Bounty –Hosted by FrontierDAO

As 2024 set new milestones for Viction, the VICTIONary 2025 Bounty invited the community to envision where Viction will be by the end of 2025. Hosted by FrontierDAO, this initiative encouraged bold yet grounded predictions about Viction’s future innovations, adoption, and growth. With a $1,000 VIC prize pool, the bounty rewarded the most compelling and visionary submissions that captured the ecosystem’s potential.

Minterest Fan Card NFT Giveaway 

The Minterest Fan Card NFT Giveaway kicked off, offering a chance to win a share of 10,500 $MINTY tokens. Running from January 22 to February 5, the campaign awarded 210 winners with exclusive Fan Card NFTs, each worth 50 $MINTY. Participants could enter by completing simple social tasks on Galxe, earning 210 points to qualify for the raffle. This campaign was powered by Starship HQ, Dagora, and Viction, creating a fun and rewarding way for users to engage with the ecosystem.
